hi every one, i have a 320 clk convertable 2000 reg, its been a BIG thorn in my side ever since i got it in the summer, amongst the faults has been the common one of the ABS & check engine lights being on, i was not aware that the brake lights had not been working!!, a change of the brake peddle switch cured these faults....then! the 'check lamps' warning showed up, all the bulbs are fine. It only shows with the engine running, if the key is in position two you can operate all the lights fine, but as soon as you fire it up theres the warning, when you turn off the car and back on there are 0 faults!!! i should mention that the fault shows as soon as the switch was changed not some time afterwards any ideas??? thanks.

Do check all outside bulbs and that includes the brake lamps and number plate lamp, sometimes the bulb holder get dirty and they may need to be cleaned
