Just received a check for £1000 for the written off e300 diesel (it was very high miles). Not sure whether to buy another one now though.

I do have 200 litres of veg oil in the dining room.

Anybody got any ideas what I should get for the £1,000?

Is that possible with £1,000? I know the markets in a poor shape at the mo. I think I prefer the 124s to be honest and I need to use up all of the veg oil!

Well instead of starting up a chip shop business, I've gone for 1995 e300 td with a lovely brown cloth interior but it is quite well specced. Can't wait to pick it up now.
