I think Mothercare do one that switches off the air bags but I,m not 100%, you would have to get this confirmed.

Yes, that was what I have been told by Mercedes in Wirrall however I have rung 3 branches of Mothercare - 2 don't know anything about it and the third said specifically that only a Mercedes own brand child seat will be compatible.
