Choosing the color for brake caliber

Howdy,

I am the happy owner of a W212 - 2016 and I have a dilemma in choosing the colors / qualities of paint for painting the brake caliber by the color of the car (brown), here I need the help and experience of those who went through this dilemma.

Any opinion is welcome, especially if you have pictures.

Welcome The world is your oyster when it comes to colour. Just make sure it's a decent job or it will look horrible. Had mine done by a professional paint shop who took the whole thing apart and prepaired it and finishefd it properly (I didn't trust my skills)!

It is not AMG, its normal caliper and it is Nice looking

Now that's not a good looking caliper , so you don't want to highlight it by going silver or a bright colour as the star of the show is the alloy wheels .

So Black Hammerite Smooth , not difficult to paint by hand .

When you have AMG or similar...

On an exact reverse I used to mange a police radio workshops including the fitting out of all police new police vehicle including surveillance vehicles.
Surveillance wanted fast cars that looked like normal cars, so cars like Skoda VRS & Seat Cupra R were favourite cars. But before issue we had to remove all marking & paint all the callipers black.

Reds and bronzes work with brown, even a dark burnt orange should look OK....??

What color its your car?

Mine is Tenorite Grey so a dark blue ish colour, but had my alloys re finished at the same time in silver, I’ll try taking a pic later
