Do any of the MB experts know how much these cost? To fit a 270 CDi

I've been looking too, but not at those prices.
Occasionly they are on e-bay, but never saw a cheap one yet.

We did have a cheaper supplier for the same parts, but he went under recently

The previous owner of mine paid £37.05 (inc VAT) for a pair of round (rather than single oval) ones from MB.

Mine come fitted from factory, as well as the AMG kit and wheels!

What you saying then

Pop up are you saying that your personal taste does not approve of the rear end of the current SPORT model? Because you know what opinions are like.

47 quid for a shiny bit on the end of the pipe??? if i buy a pipe and it comes with a shiny end fine, but paying extra for it, especially 47 when you could go down you local motor factor/boy racer staore/halfords and get one for a fiver seems a like your being over generous to mercedes. lol

i got nothing agains shiny ends on pipes if thats how the car comes, but noooo way i'd pay all that extra money for something thats gonna spend its (very short) life gettiing filthy dirty. hehehee

I must say that the beveled ends look really great... but only on the diesel obviously.
My exhaust is still the stock unit, and it's fine, but one can see it's showing it's age. So at some I will replace the entire exhaust with a stainless steel unit, guess I'll opt then for a nice single round pipe at the back. Nice and subtle.

personally i dont see the point in them. dads c220 cdi saloon pipes are near invisible from normal viewing angles. i actually prefer them that way! 51 plate car, original exhaust (still!) and you would struggle to know its there at all! low key and stealthy. just how i like them! each to their own i guess, but you could always try putting a sticker with an arrow saying EXHAUST and an arrow pointing at it if you wanted people to know you have 1 and where it is tho!! bit like a rally car and towing eyes!! LOL!!!

I see corrosion on the lower left underside of the bumper of my R107 where the exhaust gasses flow past it. I want some extenders to put a stop to this. Need a new rear muffler first though.
