Chrome remote help

I have a nice mercedes chrome remote,i mean i did have until i managed to drop then slip on it.
Now there are a few scuffs on the plastic section where the lock/unlock buttons are,all chrome is fine and intact.
Is there anyway this black front section can be cleaned up or replaced.

Please advise if possible.

Just had a look at my key,and I think it would be virtually impossible to replace the plastic section,assuming you could purchase it separately in the first place! You could always try to buff it up with some mild abrasive depending on how deep the scuffs are.This would be a bit fiddly though,and success wouldn't be guaranteed.Advice on here in the past has been to locate a nice one on E bay and swap the innards.Note that
these keys from E bay or any other non-MB source cannot be re programmed,
hence the innard swap.
