Hi all

I've seen a 1997 CL 420 for sale and I have looked for reviews of this model with no success.

Does anyone know where I can get reviews? Also, does anyone know the MB model number for this car? And more importantly, the bhp?

cheers!

Got a 1994 Autocar roadtest of a S420, same engine, but in saloon form. Spec is. BHP 286, Torque 302 lb/ft, Max speed 144 and 0-60 in 8.4. Merc was up against a BMW 740i and a Audi A8 4.2. Merc was overall winner and came out best in the following categories. Brakes, Handling, Ride, Build Quality and Noise.

Model No is W140. This covers both saloon and coupe. Originally badged as SEC until about 1993 when they were rebadged as S/CL. They replaced the much loved W126 in 1991/92
