Probably lack of use 1250 miles last year.
Just noticed when you get in or out the seat moves back to let you in, and its a tad “noisy”, for lack of a better word.
Previously is sounded silky smooth. Now it sounds like the “mechanism“ needs greasing.
Looks like a bitch to get at. I assume the 4 worm shafts, one at either corner needs oiling?. The motor itself sounds really good.
I was thinking of a clean of the runners and clear silicone greasing the runners with WD4O specialist Silicone Lubricant .... sort of dries off leaving surface Semi dry yet really slippery. Or should I use their spray white lithium Grease? Or just normal bearing grease? Or any other better options.
Anyone done this job? it really would not merit removing the seat. Just wondering if the cogs of the motor work on these 4 corners or the middle section of the worm drive. Hoping the former, as I can see no way to get at the middle section ( all encased in fancy trim).
