Hi all.

During this cold snap I've noticed that firstly my car tends to get a lot of condensation inside when its parked up and secondly the heated rear window seems to take an age to demist if the screen is misted up.

I've purchased a condensation removal bag but its not made a lot of difference which is a shame as I've had success with them on my other non Mercedes cars in the past.

But with regards to the rear window, is the slow demisting normal or could there be a potential issue with the element, is there any way of testing it?

As its my first rodeo with the CL I'm not sure how long the rear window should take to clear?

Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks all.

Lost of condensation generally means you’ve water getting in - this will lead to the long demise of front and rear screens.
Find the source of the leak (scuttle drains blocked are always a favourite) then dry the inside of the car out - also use your AC (if you’re not) as it dries the interior air
