My 'new' 2000 CL has the Bose audio system, but when I collected the car and actually drove it on my own, the audio quality was very poor. A local audio centre discovered that both the driver's side door speakers were disconnected, and the rear passenger door speaker had blown. Since fixing this, it is also apparent that the central dash speaker is also kaput. My queries are:
1 how do I get to the central dash speaker?
2 how many speakers are fitted to the Bose W215 system?
3 even if all the components are replaced, is there a better speaker setup?
I traded in a 10 year old Lexus LS for the CL, and the only disappointment is the audio!
