CL500 - improve exhaust sound

HI - does anyone know whether it is possible to buy a "sports" exhaust or similar for a 2000 CL500 ? I am not particularly interested in performamce improvements but would like to hear a little more of that lovely V8 !

Not very popular this side of the world I suspect after I preformed numerous searches in the UK for a sportier note for my old V8 350sl. Found one in the U.S. Flowmaster but haven't plucked up the courage to buy one yet. Some nice sound clips on the site if you like v8s.

Thanks Mike - have found some web sites offering performance exhaust conversions but they all seem to ffer "Max Power" style HUGE exhausts at a HUGE price ! Not quite what I was looking for - I'll check out the Flowmaster site.

theres a bunch in hatfield / welwyn gdn city or there abouts iirc (i got the number off euro car parts up that way in some trading estste) who do completely custom exhausts and i was thinking of taking my CL to them.

aparantly the workmanship is spot on...
