CLA bicycle roof rack

Hi there,

My son has just bought a CLA 250e Premium Plus Night Edition (72 plate). He is having some trouble trying to source suitable roof bars and a bicycle roof rack, as the local Halfords said they were unable to help.

Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas on where he can source something suitable? He just needs room for 1 bike.

First port would be a MB dealer - you would get a perfect fitting rack.

Unless you know the manufacturer for MB and maybe try them direct.

I’d recommend your son doesn’t leave a bike on overnight (even with a lock)… a friend had their roof tent ripped off the roof of their Audi whilst parked outside a garage. Made a hell of a mess of the roof and insurance wouldn’t cover it.

Curiosity got the better of me so I had a wee nosey to see what the new list price is for one of them and I was surprised to find that it is actually £200 more than what my CLA 35 Premium cost in November last year, and that includes the additional £595 I paid for paint.
Then I decided to check what a new example of mine costs right now, and I was even more surprised to find that an equivalent car has risen by £3895 in only 10 months.
The world has gone mad!

They are - just make sure the fiance team update the parts team that payment has gone though - I was waiting longer than I should for some bits as they'd not let parts know I'd paid.
