Hi,

so yesterday i noticed the decorative trim above the gloves compartment popped out. Could it be from the service i had couple of days ago? -In the past days I didn't drive the care so I didn't notice earlier. But I'm 100% it wasn't like this before. I'm also excluding heat or something since its winter.

How can this be fixed, is it just some "click" system so I can just click it back in? -I didn't try so I don't damage it in the process.

Picture is attached - I have a CLA coupe 2020 AMG line

Any help/advice would be appreciated. cla_deco_trim.jpg

Hello and welcome

Picture not attached... I’d just pop it back in

is the car under warranty ?
Yes, ofcourse, I just had my first service, it will be 1yrs old tomorrow.
Guess I should get it checked, but I thought if its just something I can just click back in then I wont bother them. Thought for some reason they pull it of at the service or something

I can’t see why they would touch it at the service and I suspect it is just held in place with some glue or double sided tape of some sort. As a first step, personally, I would press it back into place and see whether it sticks. I might be reluctant to try glue as some adhesives can react with some plastics. A thin piece of BlueTac or similar might do the trick.

Or just get your dealer to sort it and then, if they mess it up, it’s their fault!

No idea, tbh. I thought there might be some connectors hidden beneath to check the electronics or to connect to the tablet.
Since recently I read a article titled: "Mercedes recalls nearly 1.3 million cars over emergency call tech", maybe it had to do something with that. Guess ill just call them and see what they can do.
