I am in the process of upgrading my CLA shooting brake. Unfortunately I can't find a garage near me that has one I can look at and I am confused by online photos. I am looking at the ClA 250 line model but I am unsure whether that has the long continuous instrument and media screen or is that just on the premium package? I am concerned that the basic line model just has a separate small media screen in the centre as per my current 66 model which I never liked. Can anyone help?

I believe it is only on Premium Plus

Sold - 2021 CLA 35 Premium.
You must be referrng to the current model which is 2019 onwards...in which case all models have the continous screen along the top of the dashboard for media and instrument display.
3 trim specs are available - AMG Line, Premium and Premium Plus.
Entry level AMG line has 10.25" media display and 7" instrument display, although both screens are physically the same size.
Premium And Premium Plus have 10.25" displays for both media and instrument display, which is much better and is what you want.
The entry level will look fine until you see how much better the larger instrument display can be.

Thanks Ron240. Trust a Fifer to be helpful. For the less pleasant correspondent from the South can i mention that I contacted Mercedes online helpline before I came on to this Forum and got a different answer which I believed was wrong hence my reason for reverting to this forum. Don't worry I won't make that mistake again.

Mercedes sales people will tell you anything, whether it’s right or wrong is immaterial to them…
Whats fitted as standard or not varies between models even with the same trim level these days, so it is pretty difficult to advise correctly as they even change what’s fitted depending upon how well (or not) a particular model is selling

It was an easy answer for me because I bought a new CLA 250 Premium Plus last year and had researched everything beforehand.
I have lived in Fife for the past 25 years but I am not a Fifer and definitely do not speak Fifish, but I always try to be helpful where I can. :) Workmates refer to me as a "Weegie", which I always take as a compliment. :D

Yeah as Blobcat says always take anything car sales people tell you with a pinch of salt...much better to ask actual owners and get it straight from the horses mouth. :geek:

I am Aberdonian but have an association with Fife through Dunfermline Athletic who I support. Admitting that at the moment is even more brave than saying I know nothing about cars.

Thanks for that. Help is much appreciated. Car just about to be ordered although it looks like a 4 to 5 month wait for a Cla 250

Probably some good deals on second hand ones in Aberdeen right now considering what the local economy is like…
