Classic Car Insurance

Hi All,

Is it possible to get Classic Car Insurance without a garage/driveway?

I have neither and was going to put a new car on my standard insurance policy but see a huge saving if i do a classic policy.

I can understand why it is requested but wondered if a policy was available for the likes of me?

Yes you can get classic insurance and park in the street - just, only a couple of players in the market offer it - Carole Nash is one. You do need to live in a low risk neighbourhood.

I think classic insurance is only available on a second car, you need to have another "standard" policy in your name to be eligible.

Thanks for the tip and yes I have a couple of battered old cars that I run though I may only keep one of them once this arrives. I will give them a try as I found the website easily enough.

Well I got £200 and thats with it parked on the road, thanks you have saved me a few quid, when in Edinburgh let me know and the first pint is one me!
