classic insurance for under 25's ????

HI, im 22 and a merc fanatic having owned 5 now. I really want to buy a 1983 500sl i have seen for sale. my 230ce costs me £450/yea to insure, under the same company the SL is £1,000. does anyone know of any insurance companies that will cover under 25's on a class policy ie low yearly milage garaged for low rate ?? i cant pay £1000 / year for a weekend car, which probably is going to mean i wont buy it unless i find somehting

Try Footman James on a classic policy with limited miles. They may require that you have another "main car" and that the SL is not your daily driver
