clean headlights 97 280e

just purchased 97 e, the headlights look misty but no signs of water penetration, any suggestions, please,

hi, i am a 65 year old yorkshireman from york living in capetown south africa, just learning how to work computer so what do you suggest to clean lights? i have used autosol, it did remove a lot of film, this is my 4th merc never had problems with the old square lights,
