The seatbelts in my car need to be cleaned, has anyone got any suggestions for the best way to accomplish this and what are the best cleaning substances to use.
I'm sure it says nothing but a damp cloth. Detergents can harm the webbing, rendering them useless in a shunt. However, I bet there is something out there that the valeters use safely.
As with leather seats it is the perfume in soaps that do the damage (rots the stiches), a none perfumed soap should be fine, bear in mind that belts are more nylon than anything else.
