still searching for suitable manual(s) for my 83 W126 280SE; so apologies to you all for bothering you! However, have seen a lot of previous topics about A/C and CC and problems with relays for example. My problem(s) is this:- Selecting the console switch to screen causes the little red arrow to light and the air con to kick-in OK (revs lowered) and seems to be working although I've no idea how/where to check the refrig level.
On moving the switch to the main interior the little red light comes on .but nothing kicks-in. Is this a switch/relay fault/both/something else? If it's a relay, where does it live (my fusebox also has no legend anywhere so I haven't a clue at the moment what-feeds-what for fuses or relays).
