Hi,
Just bumped into this nice forum and am impressed with it.
Before posting I had a search but can't see anything that may resemble what I have at the moment.

About 1 week ago the car battery finally died on me (7 years old)so I went and replaced it myself. Having followed the manual's instructions I put another battery as recommended by the "noname battery" dealer following the info provided by his sales kit. The car starts up again but has 1 slight problem - all lights seem to work except for the set of lights/leds that include the handbrake indicator , the battery and the oil indicator below the milometer ( I am rembering from memory). When I switch the external lights on the panel lights up normally except for the above.
I'm not sure what is going on and if it is something like 1 of the battery wires that is badly connected - I greased them well with some marine oil before tightening .
I have also noticed a leak at the rear that looks like the car needs the rear differential seen to :( - as described elsewhere here ( near 60.000 miles done ).
any help on the lights would be great !!!
