Hi, I’m new here and having a nightmare getting 18” alloys onto my 2009 CLK.

These links look great, but think Ineed help from people with experience!

I’ve tried spacers today; rears went on great, but no-go for the fronts as bolts too long.

Also, I realised new bolts won’thave a locking wheel nut.

Can anyone help please?

Thank you!

Neil

Me -2019 GLC 350 coupe AMG line. Mrs- 1.2 vauxhall Corsa 2021 ,orange with a black roof. .
Are you sure you didn't put the rears on the front by mistake. What size tyres are fitted . Also check the offsets, should be embossed on the rear of the wheels spokes etc.

I let a professional take care of it who tried everything with all 4 wheels.

What offset do I need to be checking on mine?

Make sure you get Mercedes fitment and preferrably OEM.
eBay often have some good sets but ensure you get the correct offsets within a few mm.
The higher the offset above the recommended ET the more the wheel will sit closer to the caliper.
Conversely, if the ET is lower, it will sit closer to the wheel arch.

I’m an idiot, but what does ET stand for?
