Hope this is in the right section.
Just been out to my car for first time in 8 days and upon opening the driver's door the side windows dropped slightly as usual. However upon closing the door they did not automatically close. The windows worked OK on the internal switches. I opened and closed the door several times to no avail then l closed the door and used the full closure procedure (holding the key close button continously). This seems to have reset things and the windows now behave properly again.
Anyone able to explain please as l don't trust it now.

Thanks bembo but the battery was charged fully on my CTEK two days ago and the car has just started as normal without any issues.
I'm tending to think the door closure wasn't registering properly, maybe due to a sticky or dirty contact switch.

You could try the press down and hold for a few seconds and then press up and hold for a few seconds to do a window reset

Thanks Blobcat.
The whole issue does seem to be resolved now though after using the total close procedure l mentioned in my original post. Just that l don't trust it now. Think I'll have to put it down to a minor glitch and hope it doesn't happen again.
So much for a more up to date car after my previous 202. I was, and still am, nervous of all the electrickery on modern cars and that's probably why I'll never buy a car newer than this one.
