hi does anyone know or had trouble with thier roof going up and down?
my problem is that it wont go down at all, and then all of a sudden it will!!
and then you have problems with it coming back up!! the light starts to flash and ou dont hear any nosies that you normaly hear like the click of the locks releasing and that - any help would be great thanx all!!

CLK Converible 230k Roof Problems

I have just encountered same problem by sounds of it. Took my car into garage without the problem but when I got it back the roof would not operate and the light flashed.

The garage can't trace the problem and I have gone through usually things, battery disconnect, recharge, reset windows and roll over bars, still nothing. I am hoping its the relay but I am told I need to go to the dealer to diagnose and then it could be the pump whch will be very expensive.

Did you solve you problem , if so how? Has anyone else had similar probems they resolved?

my roof light just dont even come on
the relay at the back of the pump was stuck - but that still didnt cure the prob
im realy stuck now
it seem that the pump it just locking the part between the rear headrests
