Hi Guys.
The LED lights for the outside temp and the gear indicator keep coming off an on either with only half a display. The centre information display is perfect. Does anyone know of a simple fix. Thanks

If what you mean is that some of the dots are on and some are off then its a very common fault. The problem is allegedly down to a poor connection on the ribbon cable. However, I stripped mine down a couple of times without success and couldn't get to the actual connection as its deep inside the guts and no obvious way in. (I work with Computers and recently replaced the cold cathode bulb array in the display block, under several boards and switches deep within my Ipaq so I am pretty brave with these things, but the MB cluster beat me!) I asked MB who were useless aside from offering to sell me a new cluster for £650. I also trawled ebay looking for a replacement (no joy in 12 months). I contacted loads of repairers who wouldn't touch it but eventually found someone in Wales who was willing to take a look.
In my case, when I got the screwdriver out to strip it and send it off, the Mrs persuaded me that I'd had the car too long anyway and marched me down to the dealer for a new one, so I never got it fixed.
If you want the details of the chap in Wales, PM me.
