Clk 270cdi Injector Replacement

Just got a 03 CLK 270 and its got a bad leak from No2 injector.I noticed in the past this injector has given trouble and has bolt and copper washer replaced.I noticed on this forum that they are prone to giving trouble.When i pulled the cover of there was not much carbon contamination more everything was covered in diesel.Any way pulled injector out cleaned seat replaced washer and new injector pipe and new bolt washed everthing down.
Started it up and every thing fine but after a fast run no2 injector is covered in diesel again. There is no blowing of bubbles by the sealing washer which leads me to think it needs a new injector. Can these be bought new from Mercedes and just fitted or do they have to be coded to the ECU like some of the Ford ones.

the neck of the injector has a hair line crack and needs renewing, yes they are on the shelf, yes they do need to be coded for correct run on times but will still work if just fitted, if un coded your mpg might drop and engine wont be as smooth, unless your lucky and get one with the same code number on top (1-4)!

Many thanks for that , I thought there must be something like that as its only when you go fast that it starts leaking. It most likely cracked when they first tied to get it out as it looks like its been in the wars.

Fitted new injector which came with the same code no, 02,Runs great now.
Just a of warning that there is a £33 surcharge if you do not take old unit with you, Might save you a trip.
