Hi all,

Couple of months ago there was a loud crackling/shorting coming from the pax side engine compartment when stood parked, (after a very wet short flooded road drive). I got someone to check the car over but they could find nothing.

However, the radio search no longer works, and neither does central locking. I was advised the radio search doesn't work if there's a weak signal and that the aerial amplifier is fuse 8 (in the boot).

The fuse map (Chassis starts WDB209) shows 8 as
Convenience Locking
Anti Theft Alarm
Remote Boot Release (which works fine)
(but no mention of Aerial Amplifier)

Fuse 8 HAS blown. It blows as soon as I replace it (e.g. slot it in)

What might I need to look at please ? Is fuse 8 Aerial Amplifier ?

Thanks in advance
