Hey, this is my first post here, thanks in advance to anyone who reply.
Since i got this car (1 month ago) this thing was bothering me.. i cant set the dashboard clock, the date/time menu is missing for me for some reason and i cant set the clock. Some said - you have comand 2.0 you should be able to set it from there, sure i tried, i set the clock on the comand (i guess its auto, coz i cant change the date settings) but the dashboard clock still not changing. I tried everything, every video on youtube, read the manual and stuff but still.. same thing. I tried every key position, car running, car on parking, ignition on, ignition off, still same result. Today i saw that comand 2 has some sort of hidden menu and decided to take a look. The good thing is the satellite seems to be working, because the location coordinates are changing. I found some Error diag SAE codes and checked them:

B1795 - "Fault in CAN communication with EIS control module" Dunno what this means - but on my dashboard it says (No malfunctions).

Second code is B1010 - The supply voltage of the control unit is too low (i am with a brand new battery since last friday)

And the last one is N1204 - some phone error code ( dont have the phone connected).

About the first code error - everything is working i even changed my brakes like a month ago so this might be the reason (yes i bought new indicators for the break pads).

Lets start with the questions:

1. How to set the dashboard clock

its driving me crazy?
2. Should i be worried about those trouble codes i got from the comand unit or they might be old errors?
3. Is there any way to turn off the satellite clock automatic setup?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this sound stupid, im just clueless

EIS is Electronic Ignition Switch
The error code is probably the result of a low battery. Delete all codes go from there. If they don't come back then no problems.

If you have Comand and Sat Nav you're probably a victim of the GPS Epoch issue. Comand picks up time and date using GPS signals but unfortunately there's a bug in the way GPS signals are processed. This usually manifests itself as the time being an hour out and the date being miles out.
Not a lot you can do unfortunately. To correct the time try selecting a different timezone. Nothing you can do about the date.

Thats not the issue!! I can set up the clock on the comand, but i cant set the ANALOG clock on the dashboard. I watched videos on youtube setting it via steering wheel, but i dont have Date/Time menu.

Is your satnav time correct?
Yes it is. The clock on the comand 2 nav is set (the date is not) but the analog clock on the dashboard is not setting up for some reason. The clock is working, moving but different time.

How far out is it? The clock should sync to the satnav

The clock is like not related to the sat nav system. Dunno why I don’t have the setup menu via the steering wheel, is there anyway to get it? Do I need to go for a star diagnostic?

Normally the clock sets one of three ways:
1. Sync with satnav. (Our r230 does this)
2. Setting from instrument cluster menus (our 210 does this)
3. Pull and twist the odometer reset button in the instrument cluster (our 129 does this).

I don't have a CLK so if it's not one of those methods I'm out of ideas so you might have to wait till someone with a CLK comes along.

I haven’t tried to pull the stick, so what, I pull and twist? I only use that to reset, btw if need I can post screenshots from the diagnostics menu from the satnav

You could just bite the bullet and replace the next to useless COMAND 2.0 with an OEM looking Android unit.
One of the best things I did.

If I replace it, will I be able to set the clock, also I am with Bose sound system, will it lower the quality, aaand if you can point me on a good brand, because here in Bulgaria there are only Chinese brands that are not very good quality

If you have Bose swapping head units can be a nightmare depending on the way the amplifier talks to the head unit. If it's fibre optic it's a nightmare.

The thing is people with the same comand unit (not near to me) are setting up their clock like that, its strange that mine is not responding for some reason and i dont have the dashboard menu. About the swapping with Android... if you point me on the right high quality brand i might do it, because i cant use the navigation for Bulgaria, there are no maps for it :) Or my other option is to get the facelift NGT navi ?

I used one from Erisin. It is Chinese made as most things are but it is reasonable quality.
Look for at least an octacore cpu, 4gb ram and 32 gb storage.
