Hi,

I own a 1999 Mercedes CLK 320 Automatic. i have a problem sometimes with the gearing and revs, quite often i will accelerate and although the revs reach around 5k the car does not move any faster, on standstill the idle will drop to around 500. this does not happen all the time but is a problem when it does, especially when pulling onto either a roundabout or dual carriageway!! has anyone else experienced this problem?

Also, my drivers window goes down but has problems going back up, smostly getting stuck at the halfway point.

would be interested to know if these were common problems or just my car...

Many Thanks in advance.

Yes I think too that the MAF is causing your engine box faults,,you could try the car with it unplugged.

Re the window,,spray some PTFE into the window tracks,,when the get too stiff, the thermal trip operates on the window motor
