Hi,

A few months ago I noticed that my drivers electric memory seat developed a problem where trying to move it back it would move it forward and when I tried moving it forward it wouldn't do anything. The headres would only go up and not down. The memory button would bring it to the correct position so the motors are fine.

Gave the car in on Saturday for a service. When I got it back the seat was moved to a much lower position than normal. I tried repositioning using the memory buttons but nothing happened. I have NO functions from the switches. When I got home I lifted the seat lever as if someone was going to sit in the rear seats and the seat did automatically move forward and luckliy returned into a more suitable driving position. I can assume that the motors are OK.

Does anyone know what may be the issue or point me in the right direction on getting it fixed. The passenger seat works fine.

Thanks.

This does sound like the door controller has a problem,, possibly water in it
