clk 320 windows question..

Hi newbie here, just bought a 1998 clk 320 coupe. noticed the windows arent nudging down when you open the door and then nudging back up when you shut it, i was wandering if it could be a fuse? or if not can someone point me in the right direction? The window goes up and down fine off the switch. Any info would be great thanks

Maybe try re setting the windows hold the buttons down for 5 seconds i think

Cheers for that, just went and had a go, no luck, also tried holding the switches up for 10 secs also no luck, its doing my head in because the windows whistle when driving and water gets in when you wash it!

had a look round the site and seems that the only way to fix it is by doing the re-set which isnt working for mine so looks like i may have to take it to a dealer...not that i really want to

Some clks ahve to be reset on star,all others reset using the switches tho,where are you based?theres prob an indy in your area.

Not all 208 have windows that drop

Came in around 2001 I think. I have seen some facelift cars (side repeaters in mirrors) with window drop and some without. Don't think any pre-facfelift cars had the feature.
