As my Clk has to stand out in all weathers I bought a quite expensive all over cover . 18 months later and the inside of the cover is degrading with tiny fibres left all over the car . It also is starting to leak . So instead I am considering a half cover which fits snugly over the roof and has a flap front and back which can tuck under the wiper blades and under the boot lid so water drains into the existing channel there. I have looked online but most are cheap flappy polyester which don't meet the above criteria. Has anyone any experience of this and could make a recommendation. Thanks

Never tried the half covers but had full covers from Stormproof which didn’t degrade

I have had a half cover for some years for occasional overnight frost use , but that pretty much stopped after retirement. I only use it now when the roof is proofed and I need to protect from rain whilst it dries
