CLK 430 Plugs

:?:how Easy Is It To Change The 16 Sparkplugs On My Clk430. Drivers Side Maybe Ok, I Can See Them, Passenger Side Not So Good.
Any Advice Would Be Most Welcome.

I have never done this on the 430, But as far as getting at them when you cant see them it may be easyest to acces them from the other side of the car i.e. do the passenger side from the drivers side , just lie over the engine and you will be more able to turn the spanner since the wing top will not block your elbows free space, this is the only way to get at the plugs on a rolls about 1/2 an hour from the wrong side and for ever (with short breaks to cuss and fit band aids to your hands) if you try it from the same side.

An hours job if you have a good set of 3/8 wobble drive set, oh and the odd cut to your hands, there fine to do, stamped on the head it shows what lead goes to what plug incase you forget!!!!

First time you do them it will take you that long.

I am sure Colechelle can do them in 20 mins now!

I did the plugs (12) on the V6 in my old E class. I'd happily pay the 2 hours labour charge if I had to do it again!

nice one ollie, coming from the man who does a lower ball joint in 4 mins, that would take me at least 10 min, cuppa thrown in of course
