2005 CLK 55 AMG Cabriolet 39,000 Miles 1 Owner.

It has Keyless Go & the Battery has gone flat over the Winter non-use, but the Metal Skeleton Key cannot seem to turn the Lock in the door or the Boot, so I cannot open the bonnet to charge up the Battery!

What can I do now?

Spray some PTFE or WD40 into any of the locks, and keep wriggling the key, something that vibrates held on the key once in the lock can help the levers to drop down to the profile of the key, it will then turn. The battery I think is under the sear seat.

There is not other way in, other than to remove the nearside front wheel and put a battery charger on to the large fat wire on the starter, the keyless part will then come back to life after a few minutes.
