clk alarm prob

Hi my 2000 320 cab is sending me spare with the alarm going off with the roof down.when roof down and unlocked all ok but if i lock car(supposed to when leaving)
and roof down, cars driving past set it off
any ideas

Adjust the interior motion sensors located on the a pillars.

hi thanks for reply i have altered them and have now got them almost pointing to the floor!!!!
although when looking now i see only one sensor has got a red light flashing
i was told they were supposed to turn off when roof when down?

I dont mean move them.

On one of the sensors there is a small rubber bung. Remove the bung and turn the scrw behind it down a tad at a time.
