Hi lobito,Jason here can you please tell me how big is the damage in your roof you can get vinyl patches which is sticky on one side you put the sticky side under the cut and slowly pull over the other side which is damaged you will need someone else to go inside the car pushing up the vinyl so it is level the next thing you need is vinyl compound to fill in the gap and gently put a iron on it tell it smothes out then gently sand it down then put primer paint on then the grain on top the last thing you need is a top coat of vinyl paint the same colour of your roof it is a difficult job to do but doing it this way will save you alot of money if you need any more advice just feel free to contact me

Cheers, Jason the insurance has agreed to replace the damaged roof. I doubt if your method will work on this damage though, I think someone has it in for me.... the roof was slashed outside my house, it was so bad it left a big gaping hole in the headliner.
