Just had the aircon regassed which didn’t seem to come back to 100% efficiency so I had been looking for reasons why this might be .
Looking at the slots between the 2 temp knobs I could see something blocking a couple of them , I blew into the slots and the obstruction seemed to move but not disappear.
I got the Henry out and hoovered it and a big blob of fluff came out through the vent slots .
Im guessing it’s a temperature sensor behind there ?
The point is if you have a convertible , maybe spend 5 minutes clearing it .

Try holding a piece of tissue in front of the vent when the car is running with the a/c on, the sensor might have a small fan drawing air in. My S211 has one and needed replacing.
