Hello all
A trivial problem in the whole scheme of things, but annoying ......
I have a CLK 230K '99 and there is a rattle coming from the drivers door which seems to be coming from somewhere around the area of the interior chrome release handle/electric seat adjustment button. The handle and button themselves are not 'loose' at all, the rattle sounds as if it is behind the black leather trim panel in that general area.
Is it a simple task to ease off the interior leather trim panels so that I can have a look to see what may be loose behind them? I am a very reluctant to start pulling blindly at the panels to release them in fear of damaging any fixture points, and also do I have to be cautious because of the SRS door system?
Thanks for any help.
Neil.
