CLK Door Seal & Door Card

Hi everyone and Happy Easter,
I need to replace the drivers door seal on my CLK 200 k W208, year 2002 And need some info on removing the door card. And wondering has any one ever done this before ? If so do I need a special sort of glue to glue the new one in place ? as the old one looks as if it may have been glued in
Any help here is appreciated thanks

What part of the door seal are you replacing, is it the one that runs down all the way round, if so I may have the details on that too

Hi Malcolm, Yes its the main seal that runs all the way around , mine was missing a piece about 9 inches underneath when I bought the car, and the garage ordered a new on for me , I did insist on fitting it myself though

Sorry there is no information on this, so it maybe self adhesive or you may have to glue it, ask the guys in MB when you pick it up

Hi Malcolm, i'm new to this forum, and just need some help on changing a 1999 w208 door, and door card. I also need to swap the handle, and the trim on the top of the replacement door, mine is a sport and has black trim, replacement has chrome.

I know it's along time ago, but do you still have the instructions for removing the door card ?
My 2000 W208 has just come back from a body shop and the exterior passenger door handle no longer seems to be contected to the latch mechanism. I'm trying to sort myself rather than leave with the bodyshop for another month (for a 3 day job).
