CLK Head Rest

The electric adjustment on my W209 CLK Cabriolet only works intermittently. Is this likely to be the switch, motor or relay? The motor sounds OK when it does work. When it doesn't there is a clicking sound from the dashboard area when moving the switch.

I would start at the motor, looking for a poor connection plug/socket and work back to the switch. Don't know the circuit in enough detail to advise any better, but to me you're describing an intermittant connection problem after the relay.

Motor replaced by MB today.
