Hi
Just to let others know i changed the switch tonight. Once i discovered how to get it out all i did was remove all the fuses before disconnecting. Replaced the switch and fitted all fuses . He presto all worked. The only fiddly bit was disconnecting and reconnecing the handbrake release lever.

Great stuff Len. glad it's sorted. Thanks for the feedback that you can do some things to the circuits without an inquisition from the on-board management system.

just another note on this subject, any of mb light switchs can be swapped with out any recoding etc, as always key out of the ign when doing these, when i say switches this dont mean combi stalks or anything just the rotor light switch!!
