had my clk now for 6 months and loving every minute of it! it's by far the best car i've had but it would appear its trying to get in tunewith me as today the horn came on and wouldnt go off!! it seems to happen randomly whilst turning the wheel and resulted with me pulling in and disconnecting the supplies. i've read the pages relating to the steering column ring but was wondering if any body had any further info? my comp menu botton and scroller on the lefty hand side are also being effected!!!
Thanks for the help

No it should not,,I never use mine,, though it is an MOT failure.

The steering wheel is easy to take off ask if you want to

Beaulieu is in the New Forrest Hants

I will keep the SL500 230 now for life, or until I stop driving

Tell you mechanic that the air bag needs a thin long torx 30 to remove the air bag,, and an air line impact wrench with a 10mm allen bit to undo the wheell,,, all of the rest lifts off

There will be more than 25 and you are very welcome
