Clk w208 brabus
Hello all.

I've got a clk w208 brabus 5.8

The radio wasn't working so I've changed the fuse and it managed to show some life but a small red dotted blinking. Its still dead other than that. No response on bottons etc.

Its been parked with a dead battery if that helps anyone which I've changed.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

You need a CODE. (Anti-Theft).

Read the Manual, it will explain all...
There's a code on top of the radio. But it's completely dead, can't push anything to get a response and to put a code in??

Try disconnecting it, wait a while then connect it again. Check the main Fuse. If that's OK and still no life then it could be US... But the Flashing Light indicates that the Anti-Theft has been triggered.

I did disconnect when I changed the fuses. Maybe I've triggered it??

How do I resolve.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm sure you know the procedure but this Video might help. For the w208 I'm presuming you have the Audio-10 Unit.

If nothing happens when you turn it on then I would says the Unit is US. They are quite easy to get hold of and don't cost much.

NB. If the Red Light is Flashing this is usually an indication that the Doors are locked and Alarm on. Normally it is off. If the car is under the impression, or the Unit, that the Alarm is on it will not turn on.

Sorry I cannot be of more help. I've had a number of Mers with the Audio-10 and never had the issue you are having. Sorry.
