Hi all
First time post so thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer.
I have an 07 CLK convertible where the roof has developed a problem which makes the metal roof cover jerk when opening/closing as if it's slightly out of alignment.
I have tried to identify what's drive it and there's a snapped plastic bracket but it doesn't look like enough of an issue to cause the problem- but I'm not an expert.
The actual roof movement is smooth, it's just the cover that rises at the start and end that seems like it doesn't fit properly meaning that the action isn't smooth.
Does anyone know if this could be the issue and/or any recco's of someone who could look at it in the SW London area- I know there's a place in Redhill but it's not easy to get out there during the week and they aren't open on the weekend.
Thanks
