The CLK has more room in the front, a bigger boot (even bigger when you drop the back seats) but I found it had less leg room in the back that my C270cdi.

For what it's worth, if you currently have a c class saloon, be aware that the doors in a CLK are bigger - this can be pain when getting in and out in a car park.

Honest John's website says the boot is 420 litres - http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/road_tests/index.htm?id=56&section=dimensions

Might be some info on the MB website as well, as the body shape is still current.

The space in the back seat is a bit tight for adults - you can travel a distance, but only if the front seat passengers give up a bit of room. Getting in and out of the back seat also requires some agility...

Agree about doors (pain at supermarket) and the rear seat access.
Don't forget that clk interior is the same standard as E class whereas the C is well, C class. Drove a new C class when they first came out but didn't like it - interior and ride not as good as CLK IMO.
