I have an MB Blue coolant concentrate container in the garage (you can’t buy them anymore ) . It’s big enough to do the CLK coolant change with a 1:1 water mix .
My questions are
Can I use tap water as the 1:1 mix ?
I know that if I drain the coolant from the base of the radiator I won’t get it all out (maybe 50%?) and I will then have to keep refilling with water and running the car until it eventually runs clear ? Would MB actually do this , it seems like a lot of time to do this ?
When it runs clear and I drain for the last time assuming there is 50% water in the engine still , should I just add concentrate based on the amount of volume I first drained ? (Taking into account what the total volume of the coolant system is )
Any advice appreciated.
