Hi everyone.

I know I asked this question before, but I didn't get a good answer.

Some of the lights in my dash board need replacing and also one of the Digital desplays is not working.

Can someone give me a step by step instruction how to remove the Dash to repair these faults.

Thanking you in advance.

Willie.

Temp Display

I seem to remember reading that you can't replace the temp display. This is a common fault bur requires a complete new display set (binnacle?). I've lived without a temp display for a year now since the some hundreds of pounds this will cost didnt seem worthwhile. There is a thread, somwehere, on the forum about sending the display away and getting the "tags" re soldered, but I can't find the thread. However, since my clock is starting to go as well I may have to revisit.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Bulbs - easy.
Temp display - the theory goes that it's caused by a poor connection between the ribbon cable and the underside of the display. People have had success by fashioning a small wedge out of an rubber (eraser) and wedging it under the connection. (this wasn't known when I attempted mine).
Failing that, google "speedofixer" and "BBA_REMAN" who both repair these faults. I believe speedofixer is around £150. BBA maybe a little more.
