CLK200 Flashing Lights!!

Hi, when i lock my CLK200 cabriolet[01X] the indicators flash a couple of times then go on to flash rapidly, when i unlock/lock again to reset the car its ok for a few minutes then starts rapidly flashing again.
Any ideas what the cause may be???

This is a SAM related fault and could be water penetration I will post back on it
