CLK200K 2004 High level stop light fallen off

This is the second time that this has happened and the car is now just 3 weeks out of warranty.
The light assembly has fallen off inside, behind the boot trim and the red lens has disappeared. Just wondering if I can buy the red lens part only.
I am also having difficulty in removing the trim under the boot lid as I cannot see how the plastic trim around the boot catch comes off. I removed the 2 screws but it seems that something else is holding it inside.

Does anyone know how to remove the boot trim under the lid? (plastic around boot catch prevents this)

bob it back to your dealer. MB often aren't that fussy about when your warrany expired. If they agree it shouldn't have happened (as they should given that its been repaired once already) you may well find that they fix it as a goodwill gesture. If they say no, then DIY.
