Have just bought clk230 central locking was working fine, but now the boot will not open. All other central locking works fine, have tried key but this does not seem to work as it will not go in far enough and will not turn. I have also tried the internal boot release on central consol but this seems dead.

Could this be a fuse problem, if so how can I open the boot to get to the fuses.

Any help would be great as I'm now depressed.:(

Can you explain in more detail what the problem is? If the emergency key blade doesn’t fully enter the lock OR if the key doesn’t turn in the lock, try flooding the lock with WD40 or a Penetrating oil.

Thought I would follow up, I crawled into the boot armed with a 10 mil tee bar and undit the boot catch from the chassis. The catch was not that tightly fastened down and what had happened, with each consequent boot shutting it had slowly worked the catch further and further down into the body work. It got so tight eventually it would no loger open the boot!

Easy fix thank god, the keys would not undo the lock as it was so tight on the rubber etc around the boot edge! I could of got brutal and maybe snapped a key but that is not my style.
