Hi all I've not posted for a while but I've just bought a CLK230 W208 2001
and although being so happy with my car it has a couple of faults
The parking sensors do not work
The boot does not unlock with the remote
The drivers window has dropped a couple of mm
Is there an easy fix for any of these please ?
Thank you very much in advance

Have you had a new battery lately? Perhaps it needs resetting. There’s plenty videos on YouTube how to reset the windows

Low battery voltage and water in the electrics can cause a lot of your issues

There is a drain that easily gets blocked, water gets into the passenger footwell and causes problems with electrics.
Engine bay, passenger side just in front of the bulkhead there is an outlet hidden away protruding from a “ black plastic box” and between the engine bulkhead ( about a foot in front of the windscreen) about half way down.
This gets blocked, better to pull the outlet valve / flap off so that it can drain easier..

Long time since I had one of these.. have you tried resetting the four windows…. iirc the boot lock is a three position one; 9 / 12 / 3 o’clock. One way may block the remote and one the push to open..
not a lot of help with the parking, does it have a module and does that have power. Is it the factory fit one front and rear..

press and hold down a window switch. Keep it pressed down whilst the window goes down. Keep the switch pressed for a further 10 seconds once the window has reached the bottom.
then press and hold the window up button, again keeping it pressed down and again keeping it pressed for a further 10 seconds once it has reached the top.
do this for all for windows..
if the window still drops, the fault could be with the door handle or door open switch as this is, iirc, the switch that tells the window to drop as the door opens.

I'm so pleased with my CLK320 W209 for a 3.2 ltr V6 it was very economical going from the south coast to Yorkshire this last weekend everything worked
